The Alashe’s and the Adeyi’s Family were the first people to
settle at Anthony Village then called Degi Village.
The Alashe’s Family transferred the Degi Village to the Adam’s
family who renamed it to Adam’s Village.
An European farmer by the name Anthony who took the possession
of the Adam’s Village rename it as Anthony Village. The white
have to move back to Europe due to the rift between the Alashe’
and Adams’.
The Village was founded in 1905 with a number of Villages under
it, among them are the Ariba, Ogabi, Fatosha, Ipanpa, Yaya,
Dango, Moshebi, and Apeleyin village to mention, a few. The
occupation of the people are Farming and Hunting and their
religion is the ORI cult.
Community
Development Area

The CDA started with a Residence Association in 1968 and later
metamorphoses into a CDA in 1972 with first Chairman being Mr.
J.F.O. Ogunbajo, later Chief Ogunnekan, then to Pa. Ogunniyi to
Chief Banjo and now to Prince Adedeji Adebayo.
The Vision of the CDA is mainly to bring the Government to the
People and the people to the Government, while the mission is
to use all available human resource to the development of the
Community and the goal is toward the security of life and
property in the community.
The following are projects completed by the community for the
use of the people in the community:
